1. Who we are

Octopush (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a Philippine-focused multi-marketplace ecommerce operations platform that helps sellers manage products, inventory, orders, and shop connections across marketplaces such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop (the “Service”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Octopush websites, dashboards, APIs, and related services. It is intended to support Google Sign-In verification and marketplace partner / open-platform application reviews.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Account information — name, email address, password (if you register with email/password), business or shop name, and profile preferences.
• Google Sign-In information — if you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information according to the permissions you grant (typically name, email address, and Google account identifier). We do not receive or store your Google password.
• Marketplace connection data — when you connect a Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, or other supported shop, we receive authorization tokens and shop identifiers needed to call that platform’s APIs on your behalf.
• Commerce and operations data — product listings, SKUs, inventory levels, order and fulfillment details, buyer contact details as provided by the marketplace (often masked), payment/settlement summaries, sync logs, and mapping between your central catalog and marketplace listings.
• Billing and subscription data — plan, invoices, payment status, and related records processed through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on Octopush servers when a payment processor handles card data).
• Technical and usage data — device/browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, cookies or similar technologies, and logs used for security, rate limiting, debugging, and Service improvement.
• Support communications — messages you send us via email or the Contact Us form.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service (including catalog, inventory, order, and sync features)
• Authenticate users (including Google Sign-In) and protect accounts
• Connect to and sync with marketplaces you authorize (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and others we support)
• Display and help you manage products, stock, orders, fees, and shop settings
• Process subscriptions and send transactional notices (security, billing, sync failures)
• Respond to support requests and verify partner applications
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Google Sign-In and Google API Limited Use

When you use Google Sign-In, Google authenticates you and shares limited profile data with us based on the OAuth scopes we request (generally email and basic profile). Octopush’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features of Octopush (sign-in and account identity).
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you give us explicit consent for support, it is necessary for security / legal compliance, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to operate Octopush (for example hosting providers under contract), with your consent, or as required by law.

5. Marketplace platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop)

When you connect a marketplace shop, you authorize Octopush to access shop data through that platform’s official APIs (subject to each platform’s developer terms and the permissions you grant). Typical purposes include:

• Reading and updating product / listing information
• Reading and updating inventory / stock levels
• Reading orders and updating fulfillment-related status
• Syncing shop status (for example listing availability) and resolving mapping between your central items and marketplace SKUs

Marketplace buyer personal data is processed only as needed to show and fulfill orders inside Octopush, in line with each marketplace’s rules (including masking where required). We do not use marketplace data to build unrelated advertising profiles.

You can disconnect a shop from Octopush Connections settings. After disconnect, we stop new API calls with that shop’s credentials; residual logs or records may be retained for security, dispute, or legal retention periods.

6. How we share information

We may share information with:

• Marketplace platforms you connect, to perform the sync and fulfillment actions you initiate or enable
• Service providers who help us host, secure, email, analyze, or process payments under contractual confidentiality obligations
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
• Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this Policy’s protections

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, preferences, and understanding how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if cookies are disabled.

8. Data retention

We retain account and operations data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and audit requirements. Sync logs and security logs may be kept for a limited period for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information (including encrypted transport, access controls, and credential handling for marketplace tokens). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law (including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012), you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. You may also disconnect Google Sign-In or marketplace shops, or close your account by contacting us.

11. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International processing

Octopush is operated for Philippine sellers and may process data in the Philippines and in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
